NetAssist, the New Business Development unit in Amsterdam.
The travel market is developing rapidly and is known for its innovative character on the web. To maintain our leading position we extend the R&D department. The business unit NetAssist is currently starting up and will develop new services and products for our ASP product TourWeb and customers. Technological innovation is important. Our competitors and the competitors of our clients are not standing still.
By separating product innovation and development in a business unit, we can bring more focus and energy to work on innovative solutions to complex questions. We will start with 8 young, high-educated programmers.
Basically you work in Amsterdam, but keep in mind that you sometimes have to travel to Tilburg and abroad for consultation or advice.

Research Software Developer

The Research Software Developer, builds, tests and implements new innovative solutions as a prototype, using the latest technology standards.
You are then involved in the development of new business concepts, advising on implementation of software engineers to the production stage of the application. So including development and implementation of tests.
You advise the client and make them enthusiastic about the new features / applications.

Candidates for the position of New Technology and Research Software Developer have to meet the following job requirements:

Job Requirements

• Completed bachelor or master degree, with clear ICT component;
• Minimum of 4 years experience within the ICT sector;
• Extensive experience in working on a project base;
• Knowledge of / experience with:
  • Information analysis;
  • Data modeling;
  • SQL and relational databases;
  • Front-end requirements;
  • Object Oriented Design (OOD);
  • XML and SOA principles.
• Pro-active and solution-oriented;
• Analytical capacity and high level of abstract thinking;
• Flexible and widely applicable;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Customer / service oriented attitude;
• Excellent level of Dutch and/or English (German is a plus);
• Driving license B.

• Between 3000 and 4500 euro gross per month;
