Data / systems integration
To integrate all the possible external systems NetMatch has built an in-house application to orchestrate the retrieval, manipulation and preparation of the data in these systems before it's ready to be consumed by the TourWeb E-Business Suite. The orchestration is performed time-driven and/or data-driven to ensure your website will always use up-to-date data.
Depending on the conditions under which an external data source or system is made accessible different techniques are applied.
Web services
Using Microsoft WCF we have support for a wide variety of web service protocols and types. We have experience with integrating SOAP, REST, OData and POX web services.
SSIS packages
When external systems contain large quantities of data that require aggregation and/or manipulation we use SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). SSIS can extract and transform data from a wide variety of sources such as XML data files, flat files, and relational data sources, and then load the data into one or more destinations.
Stored procedures
With either direct access to a database or using a replicated database, stored procedures can be used to access relational data. Stored procedures can be used to add additional business logic at the data layer but also to transform the available data into a more convenient format.
Downloads
Many external systems can export their data as files. To use these data files we can download them using a large set of protocols including: FTP, SMB and HTTP. We support a large range of data formats for data files including XML, CSV and TXTT. They can be integrated and used in the TourWeb E-Business Suite.
