General

We deem the careful handling of personal data to be of the utmost importance. Because of this we will always carefully process and secure personal data. During processing we adhere to the requirements set forth in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In this policy we explain which personal data we gather and use and with what intent. We advise you to carefully read through this policy.

Security

We strive to secure the website against misuse and unauthorized access to personal data. One of the ways we do this is by using SSL secured connections. It is your responsibility to secure the devices with which you visit and use our website, for example by using adequate antivirus software.

Personal data

By using the website you are providing us with certain data. This data can include personal data: data that can be traced back to you either directly or indirectly. We exclusively save and use personal data that has been provided directly by you or for which it is clear at the time it is provided that this data is passed along to us to be processed. We exclusively use provided personal data for the purpose for which the data was provided to us.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter and we request data for that purpose, we will only use that data to send you our newsletter by e-mail. You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the newsletter. As soon as you unsubscribe we will immediately remove any personal data that are or were related to the newsletter. The basis for processing the personal data is being able to fulfill your request to receive the newsletter.

In addition to this we process your data for statistical purposes. This way we can obtain generic insights, such as insights into demographics.

We also gather your personal data in order to build a profile. We do this based on, for example, the links you click in the newsletter, your preferred reading device or when you read the newsletter.

The basis for building a profile in that case is the representation of a legitimate interest: the ability to provide better content for you.

We will not process more personal data than necessary for this purpose and your interests, fundamental rights and freedoms will not be violated. In the event that you unsubscribe from the newsletter, your possible profile will also be deleted.

Contact form

If you want to ask a question or contact us you can use the contact form provided on our website. The data that you provide to us through this contact form will be used exclusively for the purpose of responding to your inquiry or comment. After responding to your request your personal data will be removed.

The basis for processing the personal data is: being able to fulfill your request for information or responding to your comments.

Job application

In case you provide us with personal data for the purpose of applying to a vacancy, we will only use this data in the scope of the application process for the vacancy for which you applied. In the event the vacancy for which you applied has been filled or is withdrawn, we will destroy all the personal data supplied by you, such as your resume and motivational letter, unless we have received your permission to keep the data for longer in case of potential future vacancies.

The basis for processing the personal data is: the (precontractual) execution of an (employment) contract.

Please note that passport photographs, place or country of birth, memberships of labor unions, sexual orientation and medical condition are sensitive personal data. You are not obligated to provide any of this sensitive personal data in your resume or motivational letter, and it is not relevant for reviewing your application.

Access for customers and partners

Our SharePoint portal contains information that is intended only for customers and partners. Through that portal we offer you as a customer/partner access to our knowledge about certain projects. To gain access to this information you must request an account and provide us with your personal details. If we determine that you meet the access criteria we will inform you, and you will have access to the project information from that moment onwards. Because you request that account yourself, and correspondingly are taking part in that portal, we ask you for permission to process your personal data.

Provision of third parties

We may make use of the services of third parties to process personal data. These third parties will be referred to as “processors”. These processors will always operate under the responsibility of NetMatch B.V. and may never use any personal data for their own purposes. We have signed data processing agreements with these third parties.

It concerns our hosting provider and suppliers of online tools. We use these online tools to, for example, send the newsletter, respond to your questions or comments or to handle your job applications.

It is possible that we use third-party applications for following up on job applications, for example Apsis or Google Analytics.

Personal data may be processed outside of the EU or EEA. In this case it would usually refer to the United States of America. We ensure that the third parties processing your personal data are either Privacy Shield certified or work with the EU model contracts for transmission.

Cookies

Our website makes use of cookies. How we handle cookies is explained in our separate cookie policy.

Third-party websites or services

This policy is not applicable for third-party websites or services that are associated with our website through links or other methods. We cannot guarantee that these third parties will process your personal data in a secure or reliable manner. We urge you to read the privacy policies or other (General) Terms & Conditions for these third-party websites or services, before making use of these websites or services.

Questions, right of access, correction of inaccurate data and deletion of unlawfully stored data

For questions about our privacy policy or questions about access and corrections to (or deletion of) your personal data, you can always contact us. To prevent misuse we may ask you to properly identify yourself.

As part of the GDPR you have the following rights:

  • The right of access to and rectification or removal of your personal data, as well as the right to object to (further) processing of your data.
  • The right to retrieve your data and/or transfer it.
  • In the case where the processing of personal data is based on permission given, you have the right to withdraw this permission at all times.
  • You have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Dutch DPA) or the Romanian Supervisory Authority for Personal Data processing (Romanian DPA) regarding our processing of your personal data.

Modifications

We retain the right to modify this privacy policy at any time. For that reason you should periodically check this policy to ensure you have taken note of the latest version.
