Hapag Lloyd MyClient

Challenge

Hapag Lloyd Cruises wanted a MyClient application that would allow them to engage with their clients in a post booking stage. This application should make it possible for their clients to view their past and current cruises and allow them to add personal data, make payments, add extras like excursions and other personalized features.

Solution

At NetMatch, our specialists have extensive experience building MyClient applications, but for Hapag Lloyd Cruises they took it to the next level. We built a completely new application that connects through a booking service with the back-office solution from Hapag Lloyd: Davinci from Bewotec.

One of the new feature is the option for travelers to activate their own MyClient account with a smart login feature that interacts with the known customer data in the back office. The MyClient application made it possible to simplify the booking process (some data and choices were moved from booking flow to MyClient) and it significantly decreased the number of calls to the customer service center because clients could self-serve more themselves.
